Handling Checks Received from the Mortgage Company

Learn the steps to process your check from the mortgage company, whether it's an insurance claim check or a draw check.

When you receive a check from the mortgage company, here’s what you need to do:

  1. If the check is an insurance claim check already endorsed by the Mortgage Company (MC):

    • Upload a copy of the back of the check to the app for deposit.

  2. If is a draw check:

    • The file creator will need to add new check as type: "Disbursement check" and submit.
