How to log into the iink app and enable MFA

Instructions to log in and add Multi-Factor Authentication. Also, what to do in case the account gets blocked.

 

How to Sign Up

  • Go to the iink app
  • At the top right corner, click on "Sign Up"
    • If you already have an account, please see the "How to login" section below.
  • Enter your email and create a password, once ready click on "Sign Up"
  • Enter your name and phone number 
  • Agree to the Terms of Service and click on "Continue" 
  • Done! You will be redirected to iink's dashboard! 
     

How to login

  • Go to the iink app
    • Please note that the iink domain has been updated to https://app.iink.com

      Kindly update any password manager you may have accordingly.

 

  1. Enter your credentials (email and password), and then click on "Login".

      We've added a convenient chat option just below the login field. If you have any questions or need assistance, simply click on the option of "Chat now", and our support team will be ready to help you!


    • Note: If you already have MFA enabled, you'll be asked to enter your one-time code to continue.
      • Once you have entered the code, you will be redirected to the iink app!

 

How to enable the Multi-Factor Authentication

  • Once logged into the iink app. On the left-side bar, go to "My account" and then scroll down to see the option of "Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)".
  • Here, you will have 2 options to add MFA.
    • Either using the Google Authenticator or any other authenticator app, this is the recommended method. 
    • Or selecting the phone option.

  • If you select the authenticator app follow the steps below, if you chose the phone option please go to step 4.
  1. You will be asked to scan the QR code.
    1. Note! 

      Please ensure that you scan the code using the desired authentication app (e.g., Google Authenticator, OneAuth Authenticator, etc). Do NOT scan it with your phone's camera, as this will not work properly for future logins and will require the MFA setup to be restarted.

  2. Once the code has been scanned, a one-time passcode will appear on your screen, enter the code and click on "Continue"
  3. Then, you will be redirected to the iink app!

  4. For the phone option, please enter your phone number and choose wether you want to receive your code through a text message or a voice call, then click on "Continue".

  5. You'll be provided with a 6-digit code, enter the code and click on "Continue". Lastly, you'll be redirected to the iink app!

How to update your MFA device?

  • Log into iink.com
  • On the left-side menu, click on "My Account" and look for the MFA setting
  • Select the "Edit" option below MFA

  • You will see the option Update MFA, click on it 

    • In order to continue, you will need to log into the app again using your email and password. 
 
  • Then, we will need to verify your identity with the registered device and method (app, call or text). Please enter the one-time code and click on "Continue". 

  • After successfully verifying your account, you will have the option to select a new MFA method. To see the instructions on how to set it up, please go to the section How to enable the Multi-Factor Authentication, listed above 

  • Once the MFA has been completed, your account is safe and ready to go!

Important!
If you lost access to your MFA device, please contact our support team at support@iink.com for assistance with these updates.

 

What to do if my account gets blocked?

  • If you try to login several times unsuccessfully, your account will get blocked for security purposes.
  • After that, you'll receive a "blocked account email", like the one in the screenshot below.
  • To unblock your account, simply click on the link on the email and have your account ready for you to use again!
