Bank holidays: which transfers are available?

Instant transfers work every day. On Federal Reserve holidays, standard transfers and check deposits move to the next business day, even when iink is open.

When the Federal Reserve is closed, banks don't settle standard transfers (including ACH) or check deposits. On many of those days iink is still open and processing your requests, but the money moves on the next business day.

Weekend holidays

If a holiday falls on a Saturday, the Federal Reserve stays open the Friday before. If it falls on a Sunday, the Federal Reserve closes the following Monday. iink stays open on those Fridays and Mondays.
