Setting Up Your iink Account

This guide walks you through setting up your iink account, including enabling Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), connecting Plaid for bank verification, and configuring Micros for seamless claim management.

Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) Setup

Multi-Factor Authentication adds an extra layer of security to your iink account. Follow these steps to enable MFA:

1. Log In to Your Account:

   • Go to the iink app.
   • Enter your credentials to access your account.

2. Navigate to Security Settings:

   • Go to your account profile and click on Settings.
   • Select the Security tab.

3. Enable MFA:

   • Click on Enable MFA.
   • Choose your preferred MFA method:
     • Authenticator App (e.g., Google Authenticator, OneAuth):
       • Scan the QR code or enter the 6-digit code given by iink using your chosen app.
       • Enter the verification code generated by the authentication app into the iink app.
     • SMS Authentication:
       • Enter your phone number to receive a code. *Only available for US and Canada numbers. 
       • Input the code sent to your phone.

4. Verify and Save:

   • Complete the setup by verifying your authentication method.
   • Save your settings.

Plaid Integration

Plaid integration simplifies bank account verification for payment processing. Here's how to set it up:

1. Access Plaid Settings:

   • Go to iink's account dashboard and select Payment Methods.
   • Under "Bank Accounts", click on "Add Account" and select "through Plaid Portal" option.

2. Connect to Plaid:

   • Select the Plaid option for bank integration.
   • Log in with your online banking credentials via the secure Plaid interface.

3. Verify Bank Account:

   • Review the connected accounts and confirm the one you wish to use.
   • Complete the micro-deposit verification if prompted (i.e., Plaid may deposit small amounts into your account for verification).

4. Save Configuration:

   • Once verified, your bank account is linked to your iink profile for seamless transactions.

Micros Setup for Claim Management

Micros is iink's micro-transactional service for managing claims and payments. Configure Micros as follows:

1. Activate Micros:

   • Navigate to your dashboard and click on Micros Setup under the Claim Management section.
   • Activate Micros by clicking the Enable Micros button.

2. Configure Micros Settings:

   • Enter the necessary claim management details, including:
     • Claim identifiers.
     • Associated payees.
     • Payment schedules.

3. Automate Processes:

   • Use Micros to automate check endorsements and fund distribution.
   • Set rules for how claims are handled and processed.

4. Test and Save:

   • Test the configuration by running a sample claim process.
   • Save the settings for future claims.

Tips for a Smooth Setup

• Use Updated Software: Ensure your device is running the latest browser and that you have updated versions of required apps (e.g., Plaid, authenticator apps).
• Keep MFA Recovery Codes: Store recovery codes securely in case you lose access to your MFA method.
• Contact Support: If you encounter issues during setup, reach out to iink support via the help center.
